Can AI change our way of thinking?

AI challenging us. People say that the AI made things. Better than their students. Why do people ever say that their human students are impressive? Why do they almost ever say how surprisingly wonderful work their students make?

Why does only AI get very big salutes for its work? Why do people praise things like Chat GPT? There are people behind those things. Why does nobody mention the people who created the large language models, LLMs? Why does nobody praise human students when they do some interesting things?

When we let AI make our texts we face things, that we let the AI think for us. We make things that we let AI think and make decisions for us. And that means we let AI control our lives.

That means that we might misunderstand the AI's role in society. We think that because AI makes fever mistakes than we do, we can let generative AI make jobs that our boss or teacher gave to us. That means our mind turns mechanical.

We just ask things from Chat GPT or some other LLM, and we don't even try to search for information ourselves. It's easier to let some AI collect data and make texts than search, think, and write those things themselves. In the worst scenarios, we just publish text that the AI created. And then make something more interesting. That is an easy but very harmful way to act. If we make our texts that way, we face another thing. That thing is plagiarism. We didn't make that text.

We are afraid of things like Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). We believe that the machine rises above us. And takes control. That is possible. But if we just publish things that some Chat GPT makes, we already left the command to the AI. That means if we don't dare to think and publish things. That we made, we already left our right to think to the AI. The AGI will not take control if we don't let it do that thing.

When people cheer and raise the AI and are impressed by what that thing made today, they make the AI well-known. I certainly hope that teachers would be the same way impressed and encouraging about advances in their human students. If we just cheer the AI, we face one thing. Our students think that they must not do their jobs themselves because the AI is better than them.

Some of them might believe that the school is the place where they must only give orders to some language model. That makes answers to them. We can say that in those cases. We just find one thing. People see that they are forced to use the AI. In schools, they learn to be afraid of linguistic mistakes. And those people's will to make texts and think independently will be destroyed.

Their teachers teach them to write using sources. That means those people just follow the track of well-known scientists and philosophers. The problem is that they just recycle those texts that some well-known philosophers like Immanuel Kant wrote a long time ago. That is a good and easy way to finish courses. But the main problem is that this method will not make new Immanuel Kant whose texts people will read a couple of hundreds of years ago.

Is AI a black box?

In the black box model, the only thing that means is the thing that the outside observer sees. That thing was the primary element in early 2...
